Offshore Wind Farm Project Department

Offshore Wind Farm Project trains students to verify the geotechnical feasibility of offshore wind installations. Students learn to work with seabed mapping, marine seismic and sub-bottom profiling, and CPT-based soil data, then apply this foundation to optimize the structural stability of monopile and jacket foundation designs through simulation. Having trained to connect marine geotechnical data with structural design, graduates are ready to step directly into foundation-design review work for offshore wind projects.
