Economics, Policy & Strategy for the Future College

Future Studies & Technology Foresight Department

The Future Studies & Technology Foresight Department trains students to read emerging energy technologies and societal shifts and to anticipate and respond to what comes next. Through hands-on practice with horizon scanning, Delphi surveys, and sociotechnical systems analysis, students carry out scenario-planning projects; by graduation, they can produce an evidence-based foresight report on an uncertain future energy landscape unaided and take a seat at the table where organizational adaptation strategy gets decided.
