[Daejeon=GeoVis] Professor Ju-Won Oh and PhD student Park Sae-eun, Master's student Jung Yoon-ha, and undergraduate student Cho Min-gyu from Jeonbuk National University's Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL) actively participated in academic exchanges at the 2025 Spring Conference and General Meeting of the Korean Society of Earth and Exploration Geophysicists (KSEG), held from April 2nd to 4th, 2025, at the Nuri Hall of the International Geological Resources Human Resources Development Center, Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources.

This conference served as an important venue for sharing the latest research trends in geophysics and exploration geophysics and strengthening academic networks. Members of the Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL) attended various researchers' poster and oral presentations, acquiring in-depth knowledge on diverse topics such as AI-based geophysical data interpretation, seismic exploration technology, and geothermal energy exploration.

In particular, this conference greatly helped the lab's students understand domestic and international research trends and expand their research ideas through direct communication with other researchers. Professor Ju-Won Oh stated, "We will continue to support our students to strengthen their research capabilities through participation in academic conferences and grow into talents who will lead the future of geophysics."

Moving forward, the Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL) plans to actively participate in major domestic and international academic conferences to share research achievements, acquire the latest technological trends, and continuously enhance research capabilities through academic exchanges.
