Master's Student Yun-Ha Jung Selected as POSCO International Industry-Academia Scholar for 2024

[Seoul=GeoVis] Yun-Ha Jung, a master's student at the Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL), was honored with selection as a POSCO International Industry-Academia Scholar for 2024.

The POSCO International Industry-Academia Scholarship program is one of the talent nurturing projects aimed at fostering excellent talents who will become pillars for the future development of the domestic resource development industry, targeting master's and doctoral students majoring in oil and gas resource development.

It is proud news that a total of 10 scholars related to oil and gas resource development were selected nationwide, and one of them is a student from the Geophysics Computing Lab. This selection is a result of recognizing Yun-Ha Jung's outstanding academic achievements and research potential, and it serves as an opportunity to once again prove the excellence of the lab.

Professor Ju-Won Oh stated, "I sincerely congratulate Yun-Ha Jung on her scholarship selection."
