PhD Student Sea-Eun Park Wins Poster Presentation Excellence Award at 2024 KCCUS-Korea Climate Change Spring Conference

[Seoul=GeoVis] Sea-Eun Park, a PhD student at Jeonbuk National University's Computational Geophysics Lab (JBCGL), was honored with the Student Poster Presentation Excellence Award at the "2024 KCCUS-Korea Climate Change Spring Conference."

Sea-Eun Park presented a poster titled "Development of Integrated Geophysical Monitoring Technology through Seismic Velocity and Electrical Resistivity Model Construction: Application to the Sleipner CCS Project" at this conference. This research was evaluated as contributing to improving the efficiency of underground reservoir monitoring, which is key to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technology.

This award is a result of Sea-Eun Park's outstanding research capabilities and presentation skills, and it served as an opportunity to promote the research achievements of the Computational Geophysics Lab (JBCGL) externally.
