Master's Student Jin-Young Park Successfully Completes Research Dispatch at KAUST, Saudi Arabia

[Thuwal=GeoVis] Jin-Young Park, a master's student at the Geophysics Computing Lab of Jeonbuk National University, has successfully completed her research dispatch at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia.

This dispatch was part of the 'Energy Human Resources Development Project - Global Energy New Industry' program by the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning, and was supported by the 'Global Innovative Talent Training for Geophysical Exploration and Monitoring' project (Principal Investigator: Professor Ju-Won Oh). Jin-Young Park stayed at KAUST from September 26, 2023, to March 23, 2024, conducting in-depth research.

During her dispatch, Jin-Young Park worked closely with various researchers at KAUST, including Professor Tariq Alkhalifah's research team, gaining valuable experience and knowledge. Jin-Young Park stated, "I shared my gratitude in Saudi Arabia with Professor Tariq Alkhalifah and his group members at KAUST, who provided valuable encounters and experiences, and we look forward to our next meeting. I am grateful to everyone at KAUST who helped me."

Professor Ju-Won Oh emphasized, "Jin-Young Park's dispatch will strengthen our lab's international research capabilities and serve as an important stepping stone for students to grow into global experts." He added, "We will continue to expand such international cooperation opportunities in the future."
