PhD Candidate Sea-Eun Park Successfully Completes Research Dispatch at NTNU and NGI, Norway
[Oslo=GeoVis] Sea-Eun Park, a PhD candidate at the Geophysics Computing Lab of Jeonbuk National University, has successfully completed her research dispatch at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI).
This dispatch was part of the 'Energy Human Resources Development Project - Global Energy New Industry' program by the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning, and was supported by the 'Global Innovative Talent Training for Geophysical Exploration and Monitoring' project (Principal Investigator: Professor Ju-Won Oh). Sea-Eun Park dedicated herself to research at NTNU from September 1 to November 30, 2023, and subsequently at NGI from December 1, 2023, to March 23, 2024.
During her dispatch, Sea-Eun Park gained valuable experience and knowledge by working closely with various researchers, including Dr. Junsang Park of NGI. Sea-Eun Park stated, "I learned a lot and gained valuable experience at NTNU and NGI. I am grateful to everyone who helped me."
Professor Ju-Won Oh emphasized, "Sea-Eun Park's dispatch will strengthen our lab's international research capabilities and serve as an important stepping stone for students to grow into global leaders." He added, "We will continue to expand such international cooperation opportunities in the future."
