Department of Energy and Resources Engineering Holds Open Lab Event to Introduce Lab
[Jeonju=GeoVis] The Geophysics Computing Lab at Jeonbuk National University announced on the 3rd that it held an Open Lab event for undergraduate students of the Department of Energy and Resources Engineering.
This event provided a comprehensive introduction to the research content and latest research trends of the Geophysics Computing Lab. In particular, it explained in detail the lab's main research areas, including CCS technology, geophysical exploration, and full-waveform inversion.
In the latter half of the event, an active Q&A session was held between lab members and participating undergraduate students, providing an opportunity to share practical information about research life and career paths.
Through this Open Lab, undergraduate students were able to understand the current status of research in the field of geophysics and gain useful information that will help them in their future career choices. It also served as a meaningful occasion to strengthen communication between the lab and the department.
