Geophysics Computing Lab Selected as Top Team in Phase 1 of Jeonbuk National University Graduate School Global Companion Project
[Jeonju=GeoVis] The Geophysics Computing Lab at Jeonbuk National University announced on the 2nd that it has been selected as the top team in Phase 1 of the 2nd Global Companion Project of Jeonbuk National University Graduate School.
With this selection, Phase 2 will receive 20 million won in support, and the lab plans to visit the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) with students to establish a closer international research network.
The Global Companion Project is an internationalization program of Jeonbuk National University Graduate School, aiming to strengthen the international research capabilities of graduate students through cooperation with excellent overseas research institutions.
Through this project, the lab plans to establish a continuous collaborative research system with NTNU and further strengthen its international research competitiveness in the field of seismic imaging.
