Geophysics Computing Lab Selected for National University Development Project to Promote Collaborative Research in Canada
[Jeonju=GeoVis] The Geophysics Computing Lab at Jeonbuk National University announced on the 3rd that it has been selected for the National University Development Project with the University of Calgary in Canada.
The selected project, titled 'Global Collaborative Research for Securing Resource Development Technology to Establish a Clean Hydrogen Society', will be conducted from December 1, 2023, to February 29, 2024, with a total research fund of 20 million won.
This project aims to jointly develop key resource development technologies for realizing a clean hydrogen society with the University of Calgary in Canada.
The University of Calgary is an institution with world-class research capabilities in the oil, gas, and energy sectors. Through the cooperation between the two institutions, innovative advancements in clean hydrogen-related resource development technologies are expected.
Through this selection, the lab has expanded its global research network and laid the foundation for securing core technological capabilities to respond to the future energy transition era.
