Professor Ju-Won Oh Delivers Oral Presentation at SEG FWI Middle East Workshop

[Abu Dhabi=GeoVis] Professor Ju-Won Oh of the Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL) announced that he delivered an oral presentation at the SEG FWI Middle East Workshop (Full Waveform Inversion: Land and Shallow Water Challenges) held at Sofitel Corniche in Abu Dhabi.

The workshop was held for three days from October 10th to 12th, and Professor Ju-Won Oh gave a Keynote Presentation in Session 9 (Elastic inversion) on the 12th.

The title of the presentation was 'Elastic full waveform inversion for land seismic data from Utah FORGE EGS site', and he introduced the research achievements of the Geophysics Computing Lab and expanded his network with researchers and oil company experts in the Middle East.
