[Gwangju=GeoVis] The Computational Geophysics Lab of Jeonbuk National University (JBCGL) announced on the 3rd that it attended the 2022 Korean Society of Earth and Exploration Geophysicists (KSEG) Fall Conference held at Chonnam National University from October 5th to 7th, 2022, and presented its CCS monitoring research findings.

At this conference, Master's student Kim Seokhan gave an oral presentation on 'Preliminary Research on 4D Seismic Monitoring Demonstration for Large-Scale Marine CCS'.

Also, Master's student Sea-Eun Park presented on 'Preliminary Research on Borehole-based 4D Seismic Monitoring Demonstration Using Distributed Fiber Optic Sensors'.

Both presentations focused on 4D seismic monitoring technology, a key technology for CCS projects, and demonstrated the applicability of monitoring technology in marine and borehole environments.

Through this participation, the lab expanded its academic exchange with experts in the domestic geophysics field and gained important insights into the development direction of CCS monitoring technology.
