[Jeonju=GeoVis] Jeonbuk National University's Computational Geophysics Lab (JBCGL) announced on the 2nd that it attended the 2022 Korean Society of Mineral and Energy Resources Engineers (KSMER) Fall Conference, held from November 2nd to 4th at High1 Grand Hotel in Gangwon-do.

At this conference, undergraduate researcher Yun-Ha Jung presented on the topic of 'A Study on the Applicability of 4D Seismic Monitoring Technology Using GPU.'

The presented research was conducted with funding from the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF), focusing on the convergence of high-performance computing technology using GPUs and 4D seismic monitoring techniques.

This research is expected to contribute to the development of real-time high-resolution imaging technology in the field of underground storage monitoring, such as CO2 geological storage.
